Money canât buy happiness, but it can buy you flowers. đ¸
Here are a few ways to make sure youâre spending that money wisely:
1. Get off the Pinterest algorithm.â¨Most Pinterest weddings are $100K+ weddings, so look for inspiration in your favorite places, restaurants, brands, travels, home, and local vendors, too. Your wedding should feel like you, not the internetâs most-pinned wedding. Demand also increases costs across the board, so if calla lilies or burgundy anthurium donât resonate with *you* skip them and save your $! They are super chic, though ;)
2. You donât need a $10K floral budget to work with a florist.â¨Our full-service minimum is $3K, and our a-la-carte pre-styled palettes start at $750. Great for micro weddings, rehearsal dinners, DIY mixes, or couples who want professional flowers without a full floral installation.
3. Repurpose, repurpose, repurpose.â¨Not everything can or should be moved, but we can often design pieces to have a second life or find an alternative that works just as beautifully.
4. Greenery + candles arenât automatically cheaper.â¨Sometimes they are, sometimes they really arenât. Ask us what will actually give you the most impact for your budget rather than assuming a certain âlookâ is the budget option.
5. Tell us your actual budget.â¨We ask so we can maximize it, not so we can find a way to spend $2K more. Knowing your number lets us show you where to splurge, where to scale back, and how to get the most impact.
6. Hot take: skip the corsages.â¨Give Mom a little nosegay instead. It photographs beautifully, she can hold it when she wants to, and she gets to wear whatever she wants. And if Dad gets a boutonnière while Mom gets nothing... good luck, babe. đ
7. Trust your vendors.â¨If youâre hiring us, youâre hiring our eye! Give us the things you love and let us help turn them into something cohesive, personal, and very much not copy-paste.
Save this for when youâre planning your flowers đ
