Hello everyone! As we get closer to the opening of 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, we wanted to put all of our reservation information, policies, and procedures in one place.
Whether you’re a returning guest or planning your first visit to Otter Lake, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. There is a lot of important information below that will help you prepare for reservation day and make the booking process easier!

• You will not be able to reserve a site before March 26 or after November 30.

Our reservation queue system, introduced last year, will continue for 2027.
• The queue opens at 𝟓:𝟒𝟓 𝐏𝐌 𝐄𝐒𝐓, 15 minutes before reservations begin.
• Joining the queue at 5:45 PM does not guarantee you will be placed ahead of everyone who joins later; everyone in the queue at 6:00 PM is randomized.
• A preset number of guests will be released onto the booking page each minute.
• The system will provide an estimated wait time.
• Anyone who logs on 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 will be placed at the end of the queue.
• 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐒𝐄𝐑 once the queue has begun. Refreshing will place you at the end of the queue.
💡 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Be prepared before 6:00 PM. Have your dates, preferred sites, and camping information ready before entering the reservation process.

We are continuing our 𝟓𝟎-𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 for the 2027 season.
The following sites will have 50-amp service:

⚠️ Please note:
• The sites in the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐋𝐅 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥.

During the summer season, special minimum-stay requirements apply:

• Starting 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, lakefront sites can only be reserved for a minimum of one week, with a maximum of two weeks.

Once you have entered your dates, site type, number of people, pets, vehicles and equipment information, click 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄

Our Gas Saver option allows you to reserve a site for multiple weeks during the spring or fall.

With Gas Saver:

• Your camper can remain on-site during the week in “storage” for a flat $𝟏𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤.
• Most guests use Gas Saver for weekend stays.
• If you plan to stay additional midweek nights, please let us know after making your reservation.
• Nights cannot be split up or saved (“banked”) for use at another time.
• You must use two nights per week.

2. Enter your departure date for the 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝/𝐝𝐚𝐲 you plan to stay.
3. Book it as 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, for a minimum of 3 consecutive weekends.
4. In the Special Requests section, enter “𝐆𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫”.
Your balance will initially show the rate for the entire reservation period.
We will adjust the rate and send you new invoices before the end of the month.
If you reserve only 2 weekends, you will be charged for the full time.
Please carefully check the start and finish dates of the Gas Saver program. If you reserve any time before or after the Gas Saver period, you will be charged for all days reserved outside of the program.

Planning a camping trip with family or friends?
Here’s how to make a group reservation:
1️⃣ ENTER YOUR DATES
Select the dates your group would like to stay.
Then select the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 you would like to claim.
2️⃣ ENTER OCCUPANCY & EQUIPMENT
Fill out the occupancy information and unit size for the site.
This helps ensure the site will accommodate that group member.
3️⃣ ADD YOUR NEXT SITE
Click “𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞” and select the next site.
Continue entering the occupancy and unit information for each site you add.
👥 Each group reservation can contain 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝟒 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬.
4️⃣ CONTINUE
Once you have selected all of your sites, click 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞.
If you are logged into your account, some information will already be filled in for you.
If you are not logged in, you will need to complete the required fields.
5️⃣ SELECT THE PRIMARY SITE
Choose which site you will be putting in 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 for the reservation.
Click 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞, then 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧.
6️⃣ SIGN THE GROUP TERMS
You will be taken to the terms and conditions that need to be signed for the group.
Click 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 and complete any remaining required information.
7️⃣ ADD PAYMENT
Click 𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝 and enter the card you would like to use for the deposit on your site.
Click 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝 again, then select 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
You will then see the confirmation screen for your group reservation.
8️⃣ YOUR GROUP MEMBERS CLAIM THEIR SITES
Shortly after making the reservation, you will receive:
📧 An email confirming your individual site
📧 An email confirming the group reservation
The group confirmation email will contain a link that you can 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩.
Each group member will then:
• Click the group link
• Select their site
• Enter their information
• Pay their own deposit
⚠️ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: Each site must be claimed within 𝟒𝟖 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 after the group reservation is created.
If a site is not claimed within 48 hours, the reservation system will automatically remove it from the group.
