🍂 FALL AT HIGHLANDS RIVERBEND 🍂

It’s hard to believe we are already so close to the end of another wonderful season!

Our 2026 camping season will come to a close on December 1, and we will reopen April 1, 2027.

What a year 2026 has been, and YOU are what made it so special! We are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you who camped with us, gathered around the barn, shared meals, laughed with us, and made Highlands Riverbend feel like family.

Now, we aren’t finished yet! 🍁

Let’s finish the season strong with fun, fellowship, good food, laughter, and lots more memories right here at our beautiful boutique campground.

There is still plenty happening this fall, including Happy Hour Fridays, Pot Luck Saturdays, Soup Sundays, our Halloween Chili Cook-Off & Fur Baby Costume Contest, a special week welcoming the Rabun County Trout Fishermen, and more!

So grab your sweater, pull up a chair, and enjoy these last beautiful weeks of the season with us.

🍂 SUMMER HAS COME & GONE… FALL IS CALLING! 🍂

Labor Day has come and gone, and just like that, our 2026 Summer Season is behind us. What a summer it has been! ❤️

As we move into our September & October Fall Calendar, we’re changing things up a little at Highlands Riverbend RV Resort & Cabins.

🍹 Margarita Fridays → Friday Happy Hour
Every Friday at the Big Brown Barn. BYOB and maybe bring a snack to share! Just good friends, good conversation and a relaxing Friday evening together.

🍲 Taco Tuesdays → Soup Sundays
Cooler mountain weather means it’s time for Soup Sundays!

🍀 Potluck Saturdays
We’ll continue our potlucks on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of September and October.
On Potluck weekends, we will NOT have Soup Sunday.

🎃🐾 AND DON’T FORGET HALLOWEEN! 🐾🎃
October 31 at 5 PM – Big Brown Barn

🌶️ Halloween Chili Cook-Off
Bring your best pot of chili and see how it stacks up!

🐶👻 Fur Baby Costume Party & Contest
Dress up those fur babies and bring them down to the barn! We’ll have a costume contest, and our 1st Place Fur Baby will receive a special basket filled with homemade fresh treats and toys!

It’s going to be a spooktacular night at the Riverbend! 🎃

Before we completely say goodbye to summer, we just want to say THANK YOU! 2026 has been a wonderful season. From Margarita Fridays and Taco Tuesdays to cookouts, music, potlucks and evenings together, the people are what make this place special.

We can’t wait for the rest of fall, and we’re already looking forward to 2027!

Site 7 – Riverfront RV Site

FHU • Big Rig Friendly • Shaded • Directly on the River

Enjoy a peaceful mountain camping experience on Site 7, featuring full hookups, plenty of shade, a concrete patio, picnic table, and fire ring, all directly on the river.

🎣 Fish right from your site
🛶 Kayak directly from the campground
🌊 Tube the river and enjoy the water right outside your RV

Guests also enjoy our Bark Park, 8 pristine garden-like acres, a guest garden with Farm-to-Camp Table meals, the Big Brown Gathering Barn, our Trading Post, and scheduled activities throughout the season.
