Step out back and you're surrounded by trees and nature. There are other homes in the area, but they're spaced far enough apart that you can barely see them from the back of the cabin. It truly feels like your own little escape in the Smoky Mountains.
🐻 A TRUE SMOKY MOUNTAIN BEAR EXPERIENCE
This isn't a place where bears just occasionally pass through—black bears live in this area. Guests often get the incredible experience of seeing them wandering through the neighborhood and around the woods near the cabin. It's one of the things that makes staying here so memorable!
Of course, as adorable as they may look, they are wild animals. Bears should always be admired from a safe distance and should never be approached or fed.

Our cabin is located on a paved road without a steep incline, making it much easier to access than many mountain properties. You can enjoy the mountain experience without feeling like you need nerves of steel just to reach the cabin.

We're conveniently located near Ober Mountain, making this a fantastic home base for skiing, snow tubing and year-round mountain activities.
