Today is my birthday, and while it marks another year for me, what makes this day truly special isn’t the date itself, it’s the realization of how incredibly fortunate I am to be surrounded by all of you.

Looking back today, I find myself feeling deeply grateful not for milestones, but for the collective experiences, lessons, and moments I've been privileged to share with my friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. Every shared laugh, collaborative breakthrough, late-night conversation, and brief catch-up has quietly shaped who I am. You have all contributed to the tapestry of my life, and I am acutely aware that none of my journeys would be as meaningful or bright without your presence, guidance, and support.

Thank you for being a part of my story, for teaching me, for working alongside me, and for filling my world with genuine human connection. Today, I am celebrating you and the beautiful community I am so lucky to have around me...and to twin, Billy. I love you more than words themselves. I am proud of you on this day and every day. Happy Birthday.

As I look back on the experiences that shaped my life, my time at Western Oregon was a life-changing journey. Overcoming the struggles of childhood, WOU offered amazing opportunities that made me look at things differently. Combining track, cross country, and academics, this supportive community expanded my worldview and profoundly shaped the person I am today. I will forever be grateful. ❤️
