Well, folks… it’s about that time. 👀

Our winter service contracts officially become effective NOVEMBER 1, and we’re getting ready for whatever Michigan decides to throw at us this season! 🤘🏼

If you were expecting an email and didn’t receive one, please check your spam folder or reach out to the office so we can help get things squared away.

As always, our crews will be working hard to keep our contracted properties accessible and safe throughout the winter months.

The plows are getting ready, the salt is waiting, and we’re mentally preparing ourselves for the 2 AM wake-up calls. 😂

🌱 TIP TUESDAY | ONE LAST HAIRCUT BEFORE WINTER! ✂️🍂

Before your lawn settles in for its long Michigan winter nap, let’s talk about that final mow!

Did you know cutting your grass TOO short before winter can actually do more harm than good? 👀

Here’s what we recommend:

🌱 Aim for approximately 2.5–3 inches for most cool-season lawns going into winter.

✂️ Avoid scalping! Cutting too short can stress your grass and leave it vulnerable to winter damage.

🍂 Keep heavy leaf coverage off your lawn. A thick, wet blanket of leaves can trap moisture and smother healthy grass.

❄️ Don’t worry about mowing just because the calendar says so. Grass growth and weather conditions matter!

A little preparation now can make a BIG difference when spring rolls around.

Happy Monday, friends! We’re officially entering that awkward Michigan season where we’re wrapping up mowing, getting ready to chase leaves, and preparing to push snow. 😂

Here’s what’s happening around DOUBLE A. this week!

🚜 LAWN CARE: This is our FINAL week of mowing for clients who are NOT receiving fall cleanup services from us! We’re putting those mowers to bed for the season. 👏🏼

🍁 FALL CLEANUPS: We’re anticipating getting started NEXT WEEK! Our current clients are our priority as we work through the schedule. Mother Nature, please cooperate. 🤞🏼

❄️ SNOW & ICE MANAGEMENT: Winter contracts officially begin November 1! The countdown is ON.

🏢 SHOP HOURS THIS WEEK:
• Monday: Now until 1 PM
• Tuesday: 9:15 AM–2:15 PM
• Wednesday: CLOSED
• Thursday: 9:15–11:15 AM
• Friday: 9:15–11:15 AM

Appointments are still encouraged to make sure someone is available to assist you!
