Due to Hurricane Idalia, Creekside RV Park and Creekside Mobile Home Community are advising residents of potential disruptions to your water supply. This advisory is being issued as a precaution, as there is potential for microbial contamination in areas.

To ensure safety, residents who have experienced water outages or low water pressures should adhere to the following:

Use only boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, cooking, or food preparation.
To boil tap water properly:
Heat water until bubbles form rapidly from the bottom.
Continue boiling for one additional minute.
Allow the water to cool before using.
According to the CDC, during a Boil Water Advisory, it's recommended to use boiled or bottled water for:

Drinking
Brushing teeth
Preparing food, washing food, and baby formula
Making ice
Providing water for pets
Activities like clothes washing and dishwashing can be done without boiling if performed correctly. More detailed CDC guidance can be accessed here.

This advisory remains in effect until further testing confirms the water is safe. You will be promptly notified when the Advisory is lifted. Once it's lifted, flush all faucets for at least two minutes before using the water for consumption.

For questions or concerns, visit the office or contact us at (229)794-9416 once phone lines are restored. Stay safe, and thank you for your understanding.

🌄Hello Dear Creekside RV Park Community🚌,

Hope this message finds you all in high spirits, filled with the joy of exploring the great outdoors. We have some wonderful news to share that's sure to enhance your camping experience even more!

We're thrilled to announce that the street near our beloved pond 🦆 is now fully revamped and flood-proof! We know that the past instances of flooding were a bit of an obstacle for our adventuring RVs and campers. That muddy trek was certainly an unintentional part of your camping adventure, and we appreciate your patience and camaraderie during those times.

Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to ensure a smoother, safer path. We have incorporated a new design to prevent any future flooding and ensure your journey to and from your spot remains an easy, enjoyable ride. 🚧

The recent rains gave us the perfect test for our new street 🌧️. We're happy to report it stood up to the challenge beautifully, ensuring RVs and campers could traverse without having to battle through mud and water. No more muddy shoes and tires, folks!

Thank you all for your understanding and support while we made these necessary improvements. Your patience and continued trust in our community are what makes us a strong, tight-knit family.

We can't wait for you all to experience the new, improved road near the pond. Here's to more carefree adventures in our wonderful RV park! 🎉

Dear Campers,

After much thought and prayers we decided to sale both of our parks. We sold both parks and the new owners took over 02/28/2023. .

You may wonder what the future holds for Karen, Justin, and Dustin. Well they plan to slow down and devote their time, energy, and interest to our Brooks County farm. Karen, Justin, and Dustin plan to devote their time and interest to raising cows. We have approximately 85 cows and calves at this time. Our plans are to increase the herd to 100 brood cows. Most of our cows are registered red polled Brahmans and we have a few Black Angus cows.

I love my job serving the great folks of Lowndes County. I plan to continue serving as the Lowndes County Tax Commissioner. I have just under 2 years left on my second term then I plan to run for my 3rd 4 year term. After serving 12 years I plan to move to the farm, semi retire, have more family time, and work on the farm.

Sincerely & Respectfully,

Rodney V. Cain

We treat folks as we want to be treated. This is why our occupancy rate is over 90% which is approximately twice the national average.
Thank you,
The Cain Family

We are a fully Licensed RV Park that is also regulated and inspected by not only Lowndes County but also the great State of Georgia.

We just want all of our campers to know that we appreciate you. Creekside is doing a great job at attracting good folks. If you are a drunk that is constantly causing a disturbance, please keep on trucking - we are not the park for you.

The good Lord is blessing us with unbelievable growth and business. I also give credit to Karen and Justin for being so great with all of our campers. Our occupancy rate is averaging near 85% now. This is all but unheard of for an RV Park. The beautiful picture below was taken by Dustin on 10/08/2018 overlooking our pond.

Praise the Lord for allowing us to live in such a great and safe area. Near perfect temperatures, rain, and sun. No really bad weather.
I feel and pray that this potentially bad weather headed our way or at least near us will pass right on by us as always. I feel sure we will get some rain but prayerfully no strong wind.
