Due to Hurricane Idalia, Creekside RV Park and Creekside Mobile Home Community are advising residents of potential disruptions to your water supply. This advisory is being issued as a precaution, as there is potential for microbial contamination in areas.
To ensure safety, residents who have experienced water outages or low water pressures should adhere to the following:
Use only boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, cooking, or food preparation.
To boil tap water properly:
Heat water until bubbles form rapidly from the bottom.
Continue boiling for one additional minute.
Allow the water to cool before using.
According to the CDC, during a Boil Water Advisory, it's recommended to use boiled or bottled water for:
Drinking
Brushing teeth
Preparing food, washing food, and baby formula
Making ice
Providing water for pets
Activities like clothes washing and dishwashing can be done without boiling if performed correctly. More detailed CDC guidance can be accessed here.
This advisory remains in effect until further testing confirms the water is safe. You will be promptly notified when the Advisory is lifted. Once it's lifted, flush all faucets for at least two minutes before using the water for consumption.
For questions or concerns, visit the office or contact us at (229)794-9416 once phone lines are restored. Stay safe, and thank you for your understanding.
