Tell us about your farming methods:

We are pasture-based, using regenerative, sustainable practices like daily rotational grazing. Our beef is raised on pasture, 100% grass-fed and finished (no grain ever), and GMO-free. Poultry are given constant access to fresh grass and insects, but kept safe from predators in their floorless field shelters that are moved daily. Hogs are raised outside where they love to root and run, and are rotated to a new paddock every other week. Our animals are processed at Gentle Harvest Custom Processing in Wi******er; they specialize in humane and organic meats. We work hard to give our animals the best life possible.

Tell us about your Thanksgiving turkeys:

We offer pastured turkeys for the holiday season. Frozen turkeys are available beginning in mid-October. Fresh turkeys are available for preorder by contacting our farm.

Our amazing Chamber Ambassador was out on the festival grounds today, braving the blustery winds like a true professional! From chatting with our wonderful patrons to checking in with our talented vendors, she was making her way around the 50th Annual Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival, even when Mother Nature decided to add a little extra excitement! 😂🍂

With her umbrella flying, the fall leaves swirling, and a smile on her face, we’d say she was giving us some serious Mary Poppins vibes! ☂️💨

Thank you for always being out there, connecting with our community, supporting our vendors, and helping make Mountain Heritage such a special event. ❤️
