This event honors every fallen service member since the September 11, 2001 attacks and includes a boot for each of the over 7,000 fallen service members with a photo identification tag. The Fisher House is proud to be the organizer of these runs. A Fisher House is “a home away from home” for veterans and military families of patients receiving treatment at military medical centers. The Fisher Hous

es are located on 23 military installations and 24 VA medical centers across the nation and has 19 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a dining room and a living room.
