Merry Christmas!! As you are planning your travels for 2025 and maybe even a last minute gift, we hope you keep us in mind! There are many exciting things happening this spring and summer in our area!

Mud Sales! If you’ve never been, these are like mini auctions ran by fire departments. There tend to be many homemade Amish items sold at them, but the selection is vast! Shows! There are always great shows all around Lancaster. Here are a few of the most popular shows and venues. Sight and Sound Theater launches a new show, Noah, on March 13th. This has always been one of my favorite productions that they have done! Dutch Apple Dinner Theater and the Fulton Theater always have fun rotating shows, so be sure to check out their websites or Discover Lancaster. Who doesn’t love a fun amusement park? Dutch Wonderland! A great place to take your kids!! (We personally have season passes and love it!) They open for weekend starting in May. Hershey Park is about 45 minutes from Lancaster and is great if you have older kiddos! They have a lot to do for the whole family! We also love Cherry Crest Adventure farm! There are so many activities for the family and so wholesome fun (we also have season passes here because we love it).

🎶 It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎶
Lancaster county is a great place to come around the holidays! The outlets are a wonderful one stop shop and there are drive through Christmas light displays. Many places are taking extra safety precautions and restaurants are open (with limited capacity). Call us today for your last minute vacation!

Hi Friends,
It’s very refreshing seeing things opening up in Lancaster county. This past weekend as I was driving through the town of in*******se, it was nice to see people enjoying the stores. Quilt shops, Immergut Pretzels, the Corner Coffee Shop, Kauffman’s Fruit Market and Stoltzfus meats are just a few. For you folks that enjoy farmers markets, they are also open! Green Dragon is open on Fridays and Bird in hand farmers market is also open. The quaint Amish roadside stands are open for the purchase of their goods. We have some openings for this coming up holiday weekend and also through the summer months. We would love to have you stay at one of our guest houses. The beauty of Lancaster county will offer you a relaxing and refreshing get away. We are offering discount rates, we look forward to hosting you!

Hope everyone is well. Daryl and I have been busy refreshing the vacation homes with fresh paint, decor and bedding. Amish Paradise is now equipped with central air on both floors. Das Haus has a new back door and window for easy access to enjoy the backyard. Amish Stay has new living room furniture. Here are a few updated pictures, but more will be coming in the near future. These are always “must see” shows! Grumpy Old Men is playing at Dutch Apple through mid-March then will be showing Guys and Dolls in April and May. Fulton Theater is performing Kinky Boots and Snow White for select dates in March. Fulton is presenting Titanic in April and May, followed by Jersey Boys in June and July.
