Don’t forget — we’re more than just a drink vendor.

Before the dirty sodas, chai lattes, teas, cold foams, and everything else you see us pouring today, Potions & Brews started with simple syrups.

And we’re still brewing them.

Our handcrafted, small-batch simple syrups are made to take home and make the magic yourself — whether you’re adding them to coffee, tea, lemonade, dirty sodas, cocktails, mocktails, desserts, or whatever else you can come up with.

From longtime Potions & Brews classics like Butterbrew, Vanilla Chai, Blackberry Vanilla, and Lavender to newer favorites like Frosted Animal Sugar Cookie, Lemon Butter Pound Cake, and Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter, there’s a lot more behind the bar than just the drinks we serve.

The drinks show you what the syrups can do. The bottle lets you take the magic home.

Find our syrups at Joplin Empire Market every Saturday, at select events, and at Unique Boutiques Joplin at the mall.

INK MASTER MEETS THE POTIONS MASTER.

We couldn’t show up to the Royal DisorderTattoo Expo without brewing something specifically for the occasion.

Introducing MANA BURST — an expo-exclusive dirty soda made with Fanta Grape, Blue Raspberry, and Lime for a bold, electric grape-and-citrus potion.

And when we say exclusive, we mean it.

Mana Burst is ONLY available at the Royal Disorder Tattoo Expo. Once the expo is over, this potion goes back into the vault.

The Potions Master is officially channeling fall.

The wedding is over, the sword is drawn, and it’s time to get back to brewing.

Our fall drink menu is here, featuring Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter alongside a lineup of dirty sodas, teas, chai lattes and other questionable ideas that somehow became really good drinks.

Because that’s kind of the whole point around here:

Build things because they’re worth building.

Even when the thing you’re building is an unnecessarily elaborate seasonal beverage.

Fall has officially hit the shelves at Unique Boutique.

We stopped by for a little refresh, restock, and cleanup and gave our Potions & Brews display some much-needed love. Fresh signage, updated pricing, new lighting, and—most importantly—new fall flavors are officially on the shelf.

Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter has arrived for the season, bringing all that warm, buttery, spiced cookie goodness we’ve been waiting for.

And we’re giving Unique Boutiques Joplin something truly unique this fall.

Pumpkin Chai Crème Brûlée is now a UNIQUE BOUTIQUE EXCLUSIVE.
This returning fall favorite will only be available at Unique Boutique—you won’t find bottles of it at Empire Market or our other events. If you want it, you know where to go.

You’ll also notice some brand-new signage around the display. We’ve made it easier to learn what our handcrafted simple syrups are, how to use them, and which flavors belong in your next cup.

Fall is brewing at Potions & Brews!

Our seasonal drink menu is officially pouring, with everything from the colorful Crimson Eclipse to cozy fall chai and our Poison Apple Sprite.

And our newest fall syrup has officially joined the lineup — Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter Simple Syrup. Rich, buttery, warmly spiced, and ready to take home for your own coffee, chai, desserts, and fall creations.

You can even taste it on our fall menu in the Autumn Spell and Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter Latte.

PUMPKIN SPICE COOKIE BUTTER IS HERE

Fall has officially entered the apothecary.

Our Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter Simple Syrup combines warm pumpkin spice with rich, buttery cookie flavor for one seriously cozy fall brew.

And because this is Potions & Brews, we weren’t about to stop at basic pumpkin spice.

Add it to coffee or cold brew. Make a Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter latte. Add it to chai. Turn it into a fall dirty soda. Drizzle it over ice cream. Bake with it. Or start experimenting and make your own concoction.

Each bottle is slow-reduced and handcrafted in small batches right here in the Ozarks as part of our Potions Master Reserve collection.

Needless to say, that experience was far more wonderful than sampling our Butterbrew simple syrup.

It was sweeter than the Madagascar vanilla bean paste we use in all of our vanilla products.
More magical than taking a sip of our signature Butterbrew Dr Pepper.
And way more exciting than the launch of our new Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter simple syrup.

Which will be available Saturday, by the way.

Some things just can’t be bottled.

Today is not a normal Tuesday at Potions & Brews.

Today, the Potions Master is officially off the market.

So if things feel a little quiet around here — if the labels are running a touch behind, if we’re a little slower to answer messages — that’s why. We’re a bit distracted. In the best possible way.

But I’ll still be at the market Saturday, 10am–2pm, at 931 E. 4th St. — look for the yellow rocking chair — and he’s bringing our new fall flavor with me!
