Let’s get to the bag‼️

Paid Apprenticeship

Repost Japanica | " Opportunity Hunter " Because of the shortage of qualified healthcare technology management (HTM) professionals in the hiring pool, some hospitals and other employers are training their own biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) from the ground up with no formalized way to ensure these BMETs are trained consistently or to a minimum standard.

✨ Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month ✨

Repost J. Reed Men die by su***de roughly 3-4x the rate of women… loneliness is one reason why.. ✨

I know first hand what it feels like to feel alone, but to also feel so isolated because you don’t want to burden people with your emotions. For men this is common.. since we’re protective about our own emotions we’re not honest about what we’re dealing with. Loneliness is a real thing and it’s not okay. I challenge anyone reading this to speak up.. either pick up and call and check on someone or raise your hand to someone close to you and let them know you’re struggling. Only good things can come from either.

Comment below with your thoughts.. let’s build community. 👇🏾

Black boys and young men ages 16 to 29 are dying by su***de at a rate that is higher than white boys and young men despite the fact that across all age groups, white men are nearly twice as likely to die by su***de than Black men.

The crisis for young Black men peaks between ages 20 and 24, with a death rate of 31.9 per 100,000, the highest of any age group.

More than 1 in 4 Black men who died by su***de in 2024 lived in Georgia, Texas, or Florida, but the highest death rates are concentrated in smaller states with sparser Black populations.

The highest death rates were found in places like Utah, Kansas, Colorado, and Oregon, where culturally competent mental health care is often hardest to find.
