Hey y’all! 👋 We are seeking young adults 18 years and older who look like they could play HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS for a big super secret film! Please be at least 18 years old! and look as young as possible! You must play high school! We will be filming in various locations around the Los Angeles area. This film is going to be SUPER FUN! 🤩🎬💫💚

Please be sure you have transportation to and from various locations around LA. If selected, you will very likely be required to work multiple day calls which means you may work on this film more than once, and sometimes, multiple days in a row! Both SAG and non-union background actors will be needed! You may work any time between early August through late October 2026. Fittings in July! When you register for background work here on this site, and when we can cast you, we will be in touch regarding work on this film if you are over 18 but can play younger! 💕

We do not have the ability to drop everything & help try to trap your lost cat, an animal you’re fostering. It’s your responsibility to take whatever measures are needed to keep these kids safe.

Lock all the windows, leave a big bowel of water, put your pets in a smaller space, throw catnip everywhere, treats, whatever it takes.

It’s 1 day, they’ll survive IF they’re someplace safe.

To the folks who unfortunately allow their pet cats to roam, don’t wait until the the fireworks begin to search for you cat & bring it inside.

We all know L.A. turns into a war zone on July 4th, please take the time to ensure your fur family is safe.

Also, if you’re out of town, txt your pet sitter safety measures, don’t make assumptions.

For the next 3 days LP is operating with a skeletal volunteer team, many fosters are out of town & we’re more overloaded than ever. We cannot respond to every emergency, we just don’t have the manpower.

If you know someone who’s planning an illegal fireworks show, please try to discourage them, it’s torture for innocent animals, birds & all wildlife.

Last night was one to remember! Everything Everywhere All At Once won many well-deserved Oscars and I am so honored to have worked on that film!! One of my all-time favorite films to have done the Background Casting on, for sure! What an immense pleasure it was to work with directors who truly love background actors. This film has marvelous messages.. and such a wild ride! My background actors were featured and appreciated! 😍The directors, crew, cast, all involved are such amazing and wonderful people, a creative powerhouse I’m proud to be a part of! 🍿🏆🎬 We handed out tshirts promoting Debe Waisman Casting at a viewing party last night that all the cast and crew attended (besides the ones at the Oscars!). So much fun! Was a special night to cheer on our outstanding cast and crew. There was a vegan taco stand, raffles and prizes, and lots of googley eyes! ❤️🙌🏻😊 Thanks to A24 and the Daniels and their partners for making it happen!
