We finally did it!!! You can officially book The Rivers' Loft direct!

We've had quite a few guests ask us about booking directly, and it's finally here! With some changes coming to booking platform fees that will affect pricing, we figured now was the perfect time to make it happen. Booking direct means you can skip the extra platform fees and save a little money on your stay.

You can now check availability and request your stay right through our website. Damage protection is included with direct reservations too.

Airbnb and Vrbo aren't going anywhere, so you can absolutely still book there if that's what you prefer. This just gives you another option when planning your stay. Ready to plan your next trip to the river?

The Rivers’ Loft officially has its own website! 🏡🌊
I’ve been working on creating our new website, and it’s officially live! You can check out the cabin, browse photos, see all the amenities, find things to do around Luray, and get a better feel for our little happy place on the Shenandoah. ❤️
For now, reservations still go through Airbnb, but direct booking will be coming in the future!

All this time, and I don't think you've ever met Dakota. She's the inspiration behind our pet-friendly cabin. We couldn't imagine vacationing without her, so we never wanted our guests to have to either. When she's not supervising the property, you'll usually find her stretched out on the deck, watching the Shenandoah River and taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells. She knows it's the best seat at The Rivers' Loft. ❤️

My kind of night. Stopped by Flotzies for ice cream (and lucky for me, banana was the flavor of the week!) and on the way back to the cabin we were greeted by this beautiful herd of deer grazing in the field right in front of the cabin. These are the kinds of evenings I always look forward to❤️

Am I the only one who finds these little cemeteries tucked along the back roads fascinating? They seem to be everywhere around here. Not literally everywhere, but I could probably come across five of them without even trying. Some are just a handful of graves in the middle of a field, others have old stone walls or iron fences, and I always find myself wondering about the stories behind them and the families buried there.
