We’re on Strava!
We’ve created the Poplar River Condos at Lutsen Strava Club to share some of our favorite hikes, bikes and cross country ski trails.

We’ll also share the routes on social so there’s no need to have Strava.
But, if you do have it, join our group and share your own North Shore activities, favorite trails, and accomplishments.

🟠 Up first is our very own Lakeshore Nature Trail: This beautiful trail winds around the Poplar River Condos property. Trace the Poplar River, wander through the woods, and reach the shores of Lake Superior via stairways at both ends of the shoreline.

Morning river + lake views. This section of the Poplar River flows below the ridge of the condos before making its way into Lake Superior. We love how it still puts on a show, even in late summer!

Trail work update! 🌲 We’ve widened the spur trail and added railing, making the path easier to navigate and creating a perfect spot to pause and enjoy views of the Poplar River below. Thank you to Full Sun Services for all the work they’ve done!

The wildflowers are still showing off along the North Shore. 🌼 This section of the Gitchi-Gami Trail Association is directly across Hwy 61 from the condos and perfect for a morning stroll or bike ride.
