It’s not what you buy — it’s what you build.

Another update from Rent North! 🌲

We had a pile of old broken concrete to work with, and instead of hauling it away and buying everything new, we decided to put it to work.

Piece by piece, we laid it out and locked it together with stone to create a solid RV pad. It might not be the conventional way of doing it, but that’s kind of the point.

Making the most out of what we have, doing the work ourselves, and turning something that was headed for the scrap pile into something useful.

There’s still plenty more to come, but seeing an idea turn into something real never gets old.

It’s not what you start with. It’s what you build with it.

❤️ This one really hit home.

We’re always grateful for a 5-star review, but every once in a while, a guest says something that reminds us why we started doing this in the first place.

MJ recently stayed at Connie’s Little House, looking for a quiet place where she and her dog could unwind and enjoy nature.

What she found — and what she wrote about — meant a lot to our family.

Connie’s Little House isn’t just another rental to us. It has history. It has memories. We’ve tried to preserve Connie Snook’s story through her antiques, memorabilia, gardens, and all the little things that give the cabin its character.

Hearing a guest say that “the cabin itself felt like it belonged to my family” and that it had a warmth that made her smile really hit home.

That’s exactly what we hoped to create when we started Rent North.

A place where people can slow down. Get outside. Spend time with the people — and pets — they love. And maybe leave with a few memories of their own.

Every season we’re investing back into our campground to make it an even better place to stay. Our newest landscaping improvements are starting to come together, adding more curb appeal while creating a cleaner, more welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

⛽️ Shout out to Northern Bear Country Store on Alba Highway! 👏Northern Bear Country Store

If you’re running diesel equipment, pulling a camper, or just driving a diesel truck, it’s worth making the stop.

Diesel is only $4.47/gallon today — that’s about 50¢ per gallon cheaper than what I’ve been seeing along US-131!

Supporting local businesses while saving money is a win-win. Thanks to the team at Northern Bear for keeping fuel prices competitive for our community! 🇺🇸

If you’re heading through the area, it might just pay for the short detour. 💰

We’re excited to announce that we’re adding FOUR MORE full-hookup RV sites to our campground! 🎉
