Arizonado Designs I sell crochet plushies and felt eyes! I also design crochet patterns! Hello! My name is Celina and I'm an ICU nurse that loves to knit and crochet.

I have crocheted since I was 6 years old and taught myself to knit at the age of 25. My mother also taught me how to cross stitch in my teenage years. I can also sew, which I also learned at the age of 6, but I've never been very good with the sewing machine. Knitting and crocheting have brought me so much happiness and stress relief over the years that I have started to delve into the world of de

signing. I have modified patterns as I've worked them without realizing that is apart of designing, modification, going away from the set pattern. I have done graphgans for crochet and knit over the years, but I am working on doing hats, blankets, scarves, shawls, and socks in the near future! I already have a amigurumi doll and 2 cowls I have designed out, with more to come. Please join me on this journey! I also will feature yarns from Etsy dyers that I purchase and any free pattern I am currently working on, even if they are not my own.

Sooooo this morning I noticed a wet spot in my office on the ceiling. I even got my stool out to check and yep wet.

We have had high humidity in the house for 2 weeks now. I had maintenance come check it out a few weeks ago and of course they did nothing…. Thanks a lot (they won’t let me tag, wonder why 🤨)

Anyway I panicked and cleaned my office, moved things out that would be ruined, put my felt and safety eyes in plastic bags and as long as it doesn’t get bigger by tonight I’ll be moving my Cricut, heat press and laptop out of my office before bed tonight. I will also be going to get plastic tarps cause I don’t trust this.

Backstory: We rented with Invitation Homes a few years ago and the humidity spiked randomly 2 months after our main AC went out. We had asked for them to check the drip pan before they left after fixing the AC and they did not. 2 months later, the ceiling fell through. Thank god no one was in that room, my son’s room was right next door (he was 2 at the time). It ruined so much of my crochet and knitting books and I had to throw a lot of them away. They took 2 weeks to fix it, waiting over a week before ever coming out to inspect the damage. Then had the absolute AUDACITY to charge me for not cleaning that room thoroughly when we moved out. We didn’t use that room after that, we had moved everything out after that incident.

Now I’m kinda mad my room looks so good, but hoping for a good outcome cause I really can’t afford to replace everything if something does happen.
