🕯️🎄SWANSBORO BY CANDLELIGHT BRINGS CHRISTMAS CHARM TO THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST
For one November evening, trade the shopping rush for glowing luminaries, decorated storefronts, and a Christmas celebration in a little waterfront town.
Swansboro by Candlelight returns Saturday, November 14, 2026, inviting visitors to explore Historic Downtown Swansboro from 5–9 PM.
Begin with scenes from The Nutcracker performed by Swansboro Dance Studio at 5 PM. Browse downtown shops, admire holiday window displays, and enjoy seasonal refreshments from participating merchants and restaurants.
At 6 PM, gather in Olde Town Square for the annual Christmas tree lighting. Stay for music by the Southern Hellcats at Pugliese Pavilion from 6:15–8 PM, and leave time for dinner downtown.
Make a coastal weekend of it: enjoy the waterfront by daylight, then return downtown as the holiday glow takes over.
