Submit your art piece to the American Cancer Society Artist of the Year contest!

Details 👉 Create a piece that symbolizes the impact of cancer in your life that will inspire others in the shared goal of ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. This contest is looking for artists from all disciplines who want to share their creative gifts to amplify their story, raise awareness, and inspire hope in all who support the American Cancer Society.

The winner will have their piece reproduced on special collectors’ item for ACS supporters!

Robert, one of our first guest when we opened three years ago came back today to give a donation. We are humbled that we were considered for such a great gift. Robert also has created balloon sculptures for some of our events!!

On the eve of their annual 5K run/walk event the Cathy R. Watson “GIGI’s” Foundation dropped off some much needed items for our pantry. We are so thankful for their partnership with the Lodge.

Donation update!! Today we had former guest Bennie & Gwen Gibson cone and donate two guitars to our Lodge in conjunction with Guitarist for Good!! This is a wonderful addition. We are thankful to all involved.

Cancer screening is for people without symptoms. If you’re age 45 or older, talk to a doctor about getting screened for colorectal cancer. Right now, only 20% of adults ages 45–49 are getting screened. That means far too many people are missing the opportunity to detect colorectal cancer early — when it’s most treatable.
