One thing travelers often don't realize is just how different one all-inclusive resort can be from another.

Yes, they may all include your room, meals and drinks, but that's about where the similarities can end.

One resort might be perfect for someone who wants a quiet beach and early nights. Another may have entertainment going until midnight. Some are known for great food, some have amazing pools, some are very family-focused, and others are designed completely around adults.

That's why I don't think choosing an all-inclusive should start with, “Which resort is the cheapest?”

It should start with, “What do you want this vacation to feel like?”

Once I know that, I can help narrow down the choices to the resorts that actually make sense for you.

I've been traveling for a long time, and somehow I still get ridiculously excited when I have a trip coming up. 😂

I still love the planning, the countdown, packing the suitcase and that feeling when you finally wake up and realize...today's the day.

And I think that's part of why I ended up becoming a Travel Advisor.

I've never gotten to the point where travel feels like “just another trip.”

Whether it's somewhere I've been many times or somewhere completely new, I'm still excited to go. ❤️

No schedule.

No deciding what's for dinner.

Just coffee, an ocean view and an entire day with nowhere you have to be.

One thing travelers often don't realize is that a vacation quote isn't necessarily a price you can come back to weeks, or even days, later.

Cruise cabins sell. Certain resort room categories fill up. Promotions change. Airfare moves. And sometimes the exact vacation we looked at yesterday simply costs more today.

That doesn't mean I think you should rush into a vacation you're not ready to book.

But if you've found the trip you want, the dates work and you're comfortable with the price, waiting for the “perfect” deal can sometimes cost you more instead of saving you money.

That's one reason I always make sure my clients understand what's flexible, what's limited and what could change before they make their decision.

A little behind the scenes of being a Travel Advisor...

Sometimes I spend a ridiculous amount of time researching something that ends up being one tiny part of a client's vacation. 😂

Most of that work is something they'll never see...and that's okay.

I actually love the research part of this job. I want my clients to feel like someone has thought through the details before they ever leave home.

It's not always the glamorous side of travel, but it's a big part of what I do. ❤️

🏡 Come tour a 2-Bedroom Villa at Disney’s Old Key West Resort with me!

We stayed in Room 2714 on our last Walt Disney World vacation, and the amount of space in this villa is incredible! 🤩 Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, washer & dryer, huge living area, beautiful bathrooms AND a patio overlooking the golf course.
