Our hearts are with our Pagosa Springs community, neighbors, local business owners, and first responders navigating the recent flooding. Pagosa is a strong, resilient mountain town, and we are sending our love and support to everyone impacted by the cleanup.

To our upcoming guests who have kindly checked in: thank you so much for your care and concern. We want to share a quick update that Pilot’s Peak was completely unaffected by the flooding. The property is high, dry, fully accessible, and operating with normal utilities, internet, and amenities.

If you have an upcoming reservation and have questions about local travel routes or current conditions, please feel free to message us directly. In the coming weeks, we encourage everyone visiting to show extra love to the wonderful local restaurants, shops, and small businesses that make this town so special. ❤️🏔️

Pilot’s Peak: 5 Mins from KPSO Airport

Pagosa Springs Colorfest is almost here!

As an aviator-owned home, we have a pretty massive soft spot for anything that takes to the skies! ✈️🎈 That’s why Pagosa Springs Colorfest is one of our absolute favorite local traditions.

Every autumn, the horizon transforms as hot air balloons lift off for a mass ascension over the breathtaking Southwest Colorado landscape. It is a bucket-list spectacle for anyone who loves aviation, photography, or just a beautiful mountain morning.

Planning to fly in for the festival? Pilot’s Peak is perfectly set up for you. Land at Stevens Field (KPSO), hop straight into our FBO-staged SUV rental, and you’ll be relaxing at the house in minutes. After you watch the morning balloons and enjoy the weekend's W**e and Food Festival, come home to challenge your co-pilots on our retro arcade cabinets (Mortal Kombat or Pac-Man, anyone?).

Here are some pictures from when we got to fly in the REMAX hot air balloon back in January (thanks Marianne at REMAX Eagle's Nest In Pagosa Springs Colorado!).

Ready to take off for a colorful weekend? Book on Airbnb or if you are a pilot, message us directly with your N-number for a discount! 🛩️🥂

We had our first guest and got our first review! Thank you, Juhee, for being a wonderful guest. You and your family are welcome back anytime!

Good news! A couple months ago we got our STR permit from Archuleta County and our house is officially posted to Airbnb! We want feedback from guests on how we can improve, so prices will stay low while we have our first guests stay and help us learn what matters most in a vacation rental!

Pilots fly in to KPSO, grab our SUV which is staged at the airport, and be at the house in five minutes!
