We’re honored to be part of a small group of historic destinations whose stories continue to inspire new generations of travelers.

For nearly 175 years, guests have made their way to Mountain Lake to celebrate milestones, create memories, and experience the beauty of this special place.

Long before smartphones, highways, and even the iconic stone lodge itself, visitors were gathering here atop Salt Pond Mountain, drawn by the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views.

Join us this Saturday as we celebrate 175 years of Mountain Lake history with historical talks, light bites, and a chance to step back in time.

🐾 Vinny has an important announcement… 💚

Because every pet deserves a chance at a loving home, Mountain Lake Lodge is extending our May Match through June 13 and increasing our commitment to a 2:1 match up to $10,000 in support of the Giles County Animal Shelter.

Vinny knows firsthand how life-changing adoption can be. What started as a shelter visit turned into a forever home, and now he’s living his best life as Mountain Lake’s Royal Lodge Dog. 🐶👑

There are still so many animals waiting for their own happy ending.

A friendly reminder that the Pub is open seven days a week all summer long!🍕

Whether you’re spending the day on the Mountain, enjoying the pool, exploring our 22 miles of trails, or simply taking in the views, the Pub is a great place to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy the slower pace of mountain life.

🎶 Plus join us every Sunday through Labor Day for live music from 4 PM–6 PM.

🐾 And don’t forget we’re pet-friendly too!

Tucked away on the Mountain, the Spa is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you arrive. Natural light pours through the windows, wind chimes sway in the Serenity Garden, and the sauna and steam room invite you to slow down and stay awhile.

We caught a few members of our engineering team hard at work around the pool this week, adding a little extra color to the Mountain in their finest Kellerman’s attire. 😎

A big thank you to our friends at Etter's Greenhouse - Tazewell, VA and Lee Highway Farms for helping us bring even more blooms to the property. From bright pops of color to mountain views that never get old, everything is starting to come alive!

If you’ve been thinking about a visit, this is a pretty beautiful time to be on the Mountain. 🌸

The wait is over! Tickets are now on sale for our 2026 DIRTY DANCING Days Summer Festival, our brand-new VIP Behind-the-Scenes Experience, and 2027 DIRTY DANCING Weekend Packages at the original filming location of Kellerman’s Mountain House.
