At the annual chapter meeting we had a display of photos and comments from the many people who participated in the Covered Bridge Challenge Ride this year. If you sent in photos, your picture is here, somewhere!

Also, to end the challenge, we had Kim Varney Chandler, author of Covered Bridges of New Hampshire on hand to give a great presentation on not only bridges in New Hampshire (and a bunch of information on those that succumbed to fire), but also some bridges in our area of Massachusetts - that are unfortunately no longer in place!

View Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Baldini's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

MA2 mourns the loss of our member and friend Jerry Baldini. Jerry joined our chapter in 1996 and has been an associate member for the last 30 years. A small group of our members visited with him at the nursing home in Sterling just 2 weeks ago, and we are so glad we got to see his smiling face one last time. Rest easy Jerry and our deepest condolences go out to the family during this difficult time.

The wake will be held at Brandon Funeral home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg Ma. 01420) this Thursday 10/15 from 10-12 with the funeral services following at noon at the same facility.

Ride up to the Vermont Visitor’s Center where RK VT-2 was hosting their annual coffee break for weekend travelers. Great snacks and good friends. Then we spent some time on Vermont roads enjoying the ride and scenery!
