🥂 Breakfast with a view just hits differently. .lido
During our girls’ getaway to , Sandra and I treated ourselves to the 3-course champagne brunch at Lido at Dolphin Bay in Pismo Beach, and let’s just say this was not your average eggs-and-toast situation.
With panoramic views of the Pacific, I kicked things off with a pineapple mimosa while Sandra went the classic route with an orange mimosa. Then came the first course.
I ordered the Coconut + Matcha + Chia Parfait with yuzu-macerated blueberries, house-made granola, & whipped cream. It was ridiculously good.
Sandra chose the Brioche French Toast with whipped mascarpone, almond florentine, lemon curd, and seasonal fruit syrup. After one bite, she declared it the best French toast she’d ever had.
For our main courses, I went with the Chorizo Chilaquiles Rojo, while Sandra ordered the Duck Confit Hash. Both were packed with flavor and somehow managed to be indulgent without sending us into an immediate food coma.
And because apparently restraint isn’t part of the brunch experience, we finished with dessert. I had the white chocolate blueberry bread pudding of the day, while Sandra chose the crème brûlée. At this point, saying we were full would be an understatement. We were operating on pure happiness.
Amazing food, ocean views, champagne, and one of the best brunches I’ve had in a long time. If you’re heading to Pismo Beach, put Lido at Dolphin Bay at the top of your list.
Because sometimes the most important meal of the day deserves a little extra sparkle. 🥂🌊
