I was out of town for most of the week attending a wedding, but Daniel and David held down the fort! They tackled a busy schedule and installed our largest pipe and drape order to date, with an incredible 362 feet for a single event!

We also debuted our new pink dance floor this week! We're excited to add another color option to our inventory and can't wait to see all the ways our clients use it.

On top of that, we visited two new venues, including the Tudor Ballroom at Hotel Kansas City and Freedom Barn at Spirit Lake.

As wedding season begins to wind down, this will be our last weekly recap for a little while. We'll be switching to monthly recaps, so stay tuned to see what we've been up to behind the scenes! 👀

Thank you to every client, planner, and venue that has trusted us with their events throughout this busy season. We appreciate you all!

Me: The dance floor is set. Let me get a few videos before I head out.

Also me: continues filming because I can never have too much content 😂

Taylor (KC Wedding Planner + Designer): The couple is entering for the room reveal!

Me: Ope, that’s my cue! (dashes out in the nick of time 🏃‍♀️)

The Browns | 09.05.26 🤍

I absolutely loved how these pictures turned out! There were so many favorites in the bunch, and narrowing it down to just 20 was quite the challenge.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Hannah and Teigan! 🥂

Happy 30th Birthday to the other half of Rustic Wedding & Event Rentals!

From loading trucks and hauling dance floor panels to deliveries, installations, and everything in between, he’s the one putting in the work behind the scenes to help make it all happen.

Running a business together means a lot of long days, hard work, and figuring things out as we go. I couldn’t do it without him, and I’m grateful I get to build this business alongside him.

Help me wish Daniel a happy 30th birthday! 🥳

The highlight of the week was getting to see the progress at Spring Lake Wedding Venue! It's exciting to see the construction coming along, and the venue is expected to be ready in January. We've already received a couple of inquiries for 2027 events there, and we're looking forward to seeing it all come together and can't wait for the opportunity to set up there!

Another busy week in the books! Stay tuned for next week's recap. 👀

🎉 Events Served: 11
• 8 Weddings
• 1 Corporate Event
• 1 Styled Shoot/Vendor Networking Event

📍 New Venues Visited: 2
• The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
• Sugar Hollow Crossing

🔄 Room Flips Serviced: 3

📋 Site Visits: 1

The highlight of this week was finally getting to do our first event at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art! This was the last venue on our list that we had been itching to work at, so getting to check it off was a pretty exciting milestone for us.

We also had three room flips this week. Room flips always come with their own set of logistical challenges, but there's something fun about being right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle as everything comes together in a short amount of time.

We also debuted two new dance floor looks this week! Our Black Oak Dance Floor made its first appearance, along with our Black Oak & White Oak Checkered Dance Floor.

We're still right in the middle of busy wedding season, and we're loving every bit of it. Another week down! Stay tuned for next week's recap... 👀
