Come on! Look at these gorgeous Sunshine fabrics designed by for ! In the house and kitting these up to go out the door tomorrow! There are a few of tbese Summer Garden kits still up for grabs on my website Shop page and in the link above in my bio. Add a little “sunshine” for your next project! No circles in this entire quilt - two nested compass variation blocks, a Dresden band, some faced appliqué (easy technique done by machine), and some simple borders. What are you waiting for?!

We had a great few days in Lawrence, KS with the Kaw Valley Quilter’s Guild. Had a little stormy weather and a tornado watch, but they still came out in force! We also had fun wandering around town and spending time and getting to meet artist Angie Pickman from (who I have been following for years!). Loved our time and travels here! Had a wonderful time the past couple of days with the Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Guild in Sandpoint, ID! Such a great group to share my Modern Mariner’s Compass presentation and Mariner’s Compass Basics workshop! We covered a lot of ground and they all stepped up to the challenge!
