It is with sadness that we let all our fans know that The Dueling Grounds is closing its doors. We have had a great run and we have had fun. The managers are PROUD of every member we have had come through our group. May your steel always ring true, my your blades never rust, and finally may you always entertain!

hey guys,

I had a thought, and wanted to throw this out.

we will have a finalized cast list for Chess match by next Saturday, plus we really haven't had a fight meeting in a month.

what is everyones availability for next Sunday (march 25th) maybe meet over at lauderdale, I can talk about chess match (maybe mike will be there.. i haven't mentioned this to him.. Hey Mike i want to meet with the kids next Sunday.. K)

this is last minute, but it is important, but as it is last minute I can't very well get huffy if you have a wedding or something.

I'm thinking 10 or 11 am, we talk for at most an hour, I can hand out scripts to those cast and tell you what the little book your getting is for, hear your thoughts, and then have play time.

also I have set up a chess match facebook group, I will be adding you if you are chess match cast; and if you are my friend on facebook, which i think you all are.

a few roles we need to fill:

weapons master/mistress

Noble wrangler (someone to guard the Queen and ensure her torture in the "Comfy Chair" is as terrifying as possible

will need the same for the court
