Smokin' on the Smoky BBQ Competition A BBQ competition to help raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association August 7&8 2015 in Oakdale Park.

Smokin' on the Smoky is in its inaugural year as a backyard BBQ competition open to the public. It is run and hosted by the International Association of Firefighters Local 782 and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 68 both of Salina, KS. It has been run the past 2 years open to only emergency services teams. Each team will participate in pork, brisket, ribs, & chicken and will be asked to participate

in the peoples choice competition which is a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The day will be fill with events including a car show run by the German Car Club of Kansas and Santa Fe days downtown Salina.
