Alamo Lodge No. 44 will be conferring an Entered Apprentice Degree this evening at 7:00 PM. We cordially invite all Master Masons and Fellowcrafts to attend and extend a special welcome to Entered Apprentices who wish to witness the ceremony.

A meal will be served at 6:15 PM, followed by the degree conferral at 7:00 PM. Join us as we gather in fellowship to welcome a new candidate into the light of Freemasonry. Your presence and support are always valued and appreciated.

This week, Alamo Lodge will not hold a tiled meeting, but instead will conduct an Officer’s Meeting at 6:30 PM. All are lodge members are welcomed, and officer attendance is encouraged.

Fellowship, Celebration, and the Lodge of Sorrow

Last Wednesday, Alamo Lodge No.44 came together for a memorable evening of fellowship. We began the night with a wonderful meal prepared by our Stewards—smoked turkey, brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, and more. In the spirit of celebration, we also honored our Worshipful Master’s birthday, sharing in both food and fellowship before turning our attention to the work of the evening.

Once gathered in Lodge, we first opened the Lodge of Sorrow for the ensuing year. This solemn tradition serves as a reminder of our departed brethren, whose presence is still felt among us in spirit. It is a place of reflection and reverence, ensuring that their memory continues to guide and inspire our work as Masons.

After calling the Lodge of Sorrow to refreshment, Past Master Kris Ardolino delivered a meaningful lecture on the Lodge Monitor. His words deepened our understanding of the teachings and traditions that remain at the heart of our Craft, and the lecture was open to all visiting brothers who joined us in the Lodge room.

Looking ahead, next week we will host our monthly Open House. We welcome all brothers, interested men, and visitors who are curious about Masonry. This month, we will also be preparing for our upcoming Chili Cook-Off, so if you have a chili recipe worth sharing, bring a pot or a bowl and join in the fellowship as we get ready to represent Alamo Lodge together.
