The American Flag at Hoover Dam 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Effective June 15: The American flag is currently on display at the dam.

The patriotic lighting display will continue nightly through July 4, illuminating Hoover Dam and the surrounding canyon walls starting at dusk. To better accommodate visitors, the top-of-dam and Memorial Bridge walkways will remain open until 10 p.m. each night.

The flag will be lowered in response to high wind conditions when necessary. The Hoover Dam website and pages will be updated when flag status changes.

Tomorrow night, Lake Havasu City will join communities across the nation in honoring fallen firefighters. ❤️🚒

As part of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters campaign, City buildings and landmarks — including the iconic London Bridge — will be illuminated red in tribute to firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice, including those lost in the line of duty and from job-related illnesses.

From April 26 through May 3, residents and businesses are encouraged to light up their homes and buildings red in remembrance and support.

Join us in honoring our fallen brothers and sisters and the families they leave behind.
