Summer's not over yet. There's still time for one last road trip. And The Chase knows a thing or two about them. 😉

The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza has been named one of Hotels of America 's 2026 Top 25 Great American Road Trip Hotels, recognizing historic hotels that have helped shaped the American road-trip experience. 🎉

The Chase Hotel opened in 1922, just as automobile travel was taking off. Four years later, Route 66 was established, putting The Chase along one of America's most legendary highways. With a circular drive and entrance designed to welcome motorists, the hotel quickly became an elegant stop for travelers passing through St. Louis.

More than a century later, we're still welcoming travelers to St. Louis, continuing a tradition that began in the early days of the American road tip.
