La Galería at Haya welcomes Aspiring Water, a collaborative exhibition by Florida-based artists Carol Mickett and Robert Stackhouse, presented in partnership with Hillsborough College. 🎨

In Aspiring Water, collaborative artists Carol Mickett and Robert Stackhouse explore water as a source of beauty, power, movement and possibility. Through paintings and prints depicting oceans, rivers and the human relationship to waterways, the artists consider both the vitality of our aquatic environments and the growing threats they face. From the clear waters and thriving live oaks imagined in Aspiring Gulf: Live Oak to the warning of An Imbalance of Fire, the works invite us to consider what a healthy, balanced relationship with water might look like and what we can aspire to create through environmental stewardship.

Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, September 3 from 6-8 PM in Hotel Haya’s Valencia Foyer to explore the collection, connect with the artists, and experience an evening of creativity and community.
