I've had A LOT of my friends, particularly my friends from ABQ ask me what they can do to help with all this craziness going on.
Well, I thought of something.

I'm asking all my friends in Albuquerque to go buy some dog food or cat food or pet toys or kitty litter and take it to the animal shelter there in ABQ or up to the shelter in Espanola that took in all the animals from our Humane Society in Ruidoso. They were saying this morning on KRQE news that they were overwhelmed with the amount of animals they took in with the evacuation.

Ruidoso mayor said today that it will be at minimum another week before people can get back into their homes in Ruidoso and Ruidoso Downs.

Anyway, I know no one can travel down here because the roads are closed, but if you can, please take food and kitty litter to the shelters there.

I'm REALLY EXCITED to be in Albuquerque today and being a part of the biggest wedding expo in New Mexico.
This time for my wedding venue "Moonflower Meadow".
Scott and I drove up to Isleta and set up yesterday. I made a couple of really awesome vendor networking connections last night and got to see some old industry friends too.
I'm wanting to book at least 10 to 20 weddings this year on the property.

Starting prices are $8k for 48hours, from Friday at to noon Sunday at noon. Includes 13 full hook up RV sites, tables, chairs, linens, ANNNNND, rental of faux floral decor ANNNNNND fresh flowers for the bridal party! Well, our first Farmers Market did pretty darn well! Up until we saw the lightning coming. So for the safety of our vendor and patrons we have closed down early.
