The summer crowds are gone. The lake is quieter. The mornings are crisp, the afternoons are still beautiful, and evenings practically beg for a fire by the water.

And we just happen to have a stretch of September open at Abide Lakeside Cottages:

Come for a couple of nights, make it a long weekend, or settle in and stay awhile.

Our cozy lakeside cottage sleeps 4-6 and sits on 40 peaceful acres on Big Sand Lake. You’ll have the lake just outside your door, with a canoe and kayaks available for getting out on the water—and plenty of room to simply slow down.

This is the kind of getaway for morning coffee overlooking the lake, afternoon paddles, books on the porch, campfires after dinner, and nowhere you need to be.
