☀️ Open week alert: July 12–19 at our waterfront cottage! ☀️
A Sunday-to-Sunday week in the warmest, sunniest stretch of the Cape Cod summer. Mornings on the pond, afternoons at the beach, and long evenings out on the deck.
🏖️ You're surrounded by beaches — all within about 20 minutes. Take your pick of the warm, calm, kid-friendly waters of Nantucket Sound at Seagull Beach, Parker's River, and Smugglers Beach in Yarmouth, plus Glendon Road, Sea Street, and Haigis in Dennisport — or cross over to the Bay side for the famous tidal flats at Mayflower Beach and Corporation Beach.
And there's plenty going on that week:
⚾ Cape Cod Baseball League — catch the hometown Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox at Red Wilson Field in South Yarmouth (free admission!), and don't miss the Cape League All-Star Game at Harwich's Whitehouse Field on Saturday, July 18 — the best young talent in the country, all in one night.

Sunny days are for the beach. Gray days? This is the Cape I see.

Some of these have been around since the ‘50s — the kind of place where grandparents putted as kids and now bring the grandkids. Twenty courses total, and I’ve played maybe a third.
