Camping has its charms. A cold tent floor at 3am isn't one of them. 🏕️
We just put it all on the table: glamping vs camping in the Texas Hill Country. Same fire, same stars, same cedar-and-limestone setting… minus the gear haul, the temperature roulette, and the shared bathhouse.
Here's the real difference: a real bed (hello, Leesa mattress + hotel linens), climate control you set before you fall asleep, a private hot tub, a gas fire pit you just turn on, and a deck where you genuinely can't see your neighbors. You pack the food, drinks, and games — we've got the rest.

🏕️ Property Feature — 📍 Dripping Springs

Most of our Dripping Springs yurts open up to a wide Hill Country view. Lizzie Ger does her own thing. 🪨
Out front: a cluster of boulders big enough to hike across or spread a picnic on, facing a cliff that turns the whole spot into a front-row seat for bird watching. 🦉 It’s quieter, more tucked-in — the kind of place where you actually notice what’s moving in the trees.
Climb to the rooftop deck, though, and the view opens right up. Inside, she’s hand-painted a soft light blue — calm, a little dreamy, very Hill Country.

For years, you sent us the same note: "We'd love to bring the kids someday."
Starting Memorial Day weekend, the answer is finally yes. Three of our Premium hilltop yurts in Dripping Springs — Annie Ger, Amie Ger, and Dottie Ger — are now open for families with kids age 5 and up.

Sleeps four: one king-size bed for the adults, two camp cots for the kids. Same private hot tub, same rooftop deck and hammock, same hilltop views, same hand-painted Mongolian interior. Now with a s'mores kit upon arrival and your own private gas firepit ready to go. Furry friends welcome too — dogs included.

It took us a while to get here, and that was on purpose. We wanted family glamping to feel like the rest of the property — private, beautiful, worth the trip — not just kids tolerated.

This is my mom. She's almost 86, and I can't keep up with her. 🌿
She's fearless in the way that matters — not loud, not reckless, just unwilling to stop showing up. Hot tubs with the grandkids. Mountains in Colorado. Songwriter festivals. Graduations in three states. Floating down a Hill Country river with a Diet Coke. She just keeps going. She just keeps engaging with all her people.

Today is for her — and for every mom, every grandmother, every aunt and sister and friend, every woman who mothers in any direction. The ones who raised us. The ones who love us. The ones who are still figuring out what their own mothering looks like. You're all in this.

It’s Saturday morning. We have openings tonight. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day. You can probably do the math.

A yurt. A hot tub. A private deck where the only thing on the agenda is each other. Climate-controlled, outdoor kitchen, coffee on the rooftop deck. ☕️
