Spotted a dwarf chameleon for the very first time while hiking! 🦎🌿

Interesting fact: Dwarf chameleons can move their eyes independently, allowing them to look in two different directions at the same time. This helps them watch for predators while searching for food!

Finding one of these tiny masters of camouflage in the wild was a special reminder that nature's most fascinating creatures are often the hardest to spot.

What an incredible blessing!

We’ve received over 100mm of rain in the past 2–3 days, and we are beyond grateful. 🙏💧

For the first time since November 2024, the river is flowing again — a truly beautiful sight after such a long dry period. Nature has a way of reminding us to appreciate every drop. 🌿🌊

The bush is already starting to come alive again, and we couldn’t be more thankful for this much-needed rain. ☔🦒
