Thabo Lebjang is the head of the maintenance team. His incredible knowledge of the properties water system, pipes and wiring, makes him very valuable.
Thabo has one kid, and his partner is expecting his second baby now. When at home, he enjoys spicy seshebo (gravy/sauce) with chicken and wors (sausage) a lot, and he likes to eat this while watching either a drama or soccer on the TV. His favourite soccer team is the famous Soweto base Orlando Pirates FC. Thabo worked at Chestnut Country Lodge on a non-permanent basis from October 2003, and then got permanently employed in 2005.
He loves the fact that it is so quit here, but also enjoys the fact that there is always work to do and that he can be busy. He enjoys finishing something that was tasked to him and understands that when the lodge looks neat, it makes the visitors happy, and that makes him feel good.
