Right behind the yellow frame on the Hermanus strip, there’s a story hiding in plain sight 🍐

Pear Tree is a little blue-tabled bistro worth knowing about. The kind of place where “just grabbing a bite” can easily turn into a long breakfast, lunch or dinner 🌊

The light, fresh and wonderfully original menu is what got us curious: Breakfast tacos with kimchi and fried capers, or calamari stuffed with salmon, sushi rice, and nori 🍣

And then there’s the drinks list: Unique regional finds alongside international favourites.

It can be as fancy as a Boschendal Brut… or as classic as a Mojito 😉

Tiny, tucked beside the Whale Tail Fountain and easy to miss, it feels like the kind of secret you’ve stumbled across by chance.
