Today, on World Female Ranger Day, we proudly recognise Mandi from for her dedication to conservation, wildlife protection, and inspiring the next generation of female rangers.
After completing her degree in Communication Science, Mandi was awarded a Tourvest sponsorship to attend the Bushwise Field Guides training programme, where she embraced the challenges of becoming a professional field guide. Through determination, resilience, and a deep passion for the African bush, she has built a career dedicated to protecting our natural heritage and sharing its wonders with guests from around the world.
As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Mandi has overcome obstacles, challenged perceptions, and proven that passion, knowledge, and perseverance know no boundaries. Her journey is a powerful reminder that women play a vital role in conservation and continue to make meaningful contributions to safeguarding Africa's wildlife and wild spaces.
