Recycling Entire Buildings

BlackBrick Bryanston began as an office building. Rather than starting over, we worked with what was already there, preserving the character of the original structure while creating something new within it.

Transforming an existing building creates less waste, less disruption, and leaves a cleaner footprint.

This is the first building conversion in Bryanston, following the path we pioneered in Sandton and Bedfordview.

Bryanston was once a farm. Gold was panned from the spruit that ran through it, and William Nicol Drive was a sand road to nowhere.

Then Anglo American had a vision, quietly acquiring the land in the 1930s and building one of Johannesburg's most coveted addresses from scratch.

Nearly a century later, that same instinct to see what a place could become, brings BlackBrick here. In partnership with Merelava, we're bringing a new chapter of Bryanston to life.
