Life aboard the QE2 was never simply about travelling from one destination to another. It was an occasion.

Days were spent lounging beside the pool on the Pavilion Deck, while evenings called for elegant attire, dinner and ballroom dancing. This day in history in 1982, the QE2 revealed a striking new look with her hull painted pebble grey and her funnel, in the traditional Cunard red.
