Proud of Our Junior Chefs!

Hodges Bay Resort & Spa was honored to support and train Malik Burton and Shoyah Athill over the past several weeks as part of the 2026 Taste of Wadadli Junior Chef Academy and what a journey it's been!

From learning the ropes in a professional kitchen to building confidence, skill and discipline, Malik and Shoyah put in the work, and it showed. While they didn't take home the top title this year, they represented Hodges Bay with heart, focus and genuine passion for the craft and that's something to be proud of.

Huge congratulations to all 15 Junior Chefs who completed the programme, and to the well-deserved winner for an outstanding showing. This next generation of culinary talent is one to watch. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Spend the day at Hodges Bay Resort and Spa with our Property Experience. For just US$88 per person you can access to the resort's pools, bar, lounges, beach facilities, and more. Available daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm (food and beverages sold separately).

For something more exclusive, accept a different kind of invitation... one to Prickly Pear Island. A minimum spend of US$400 (for 1โ€“6 persons, US$75 per additional guest) secures round-trip boat transportation, lunch, drinks, and use of a daybed or table, with all consumption applied toward your minimum. Boats depart the resort from 11:00am with the last return at 6:00pm.
