Their second anniversary was last weekend. We’re a few days late — but these have been sitting in our archive since 2024, waiting for the right excuse.
The details are the part nobody thinks to ask for, and the part you want back in twenty years.
A lace sleeve on a wardrobe door before anyone in the house is awake. A watch set down beside an invitation that took four drafts to get right. Two rings resting in a caramel rose, chosen months earlier on some ordinary afternoon. Candles waiting in the ballroom while the tables are still perfectly quiet.
Then the light drops, Halbturn goes gold, and it’s just the two of them on the steps.
We spent the first hour of their day photographing objects and the last hour photographing them. Both hours were about the same thing.
