C I A O C I A O - Sommer 2026
Our 7th summer season is over— give us a pinch 🙃

From changing countless beds and cleaning apartments, to what we enjoyed most: having you there as our guest!

We’ve enjoyed the cozy atmosphere during our MEET&EAT evenings—in sweltering heat, in the cold, and even during a storm, it didn’t matter to you all, you made it a party. Besides that, we’ve enjoyed all spontaneous chats & moments in the garden while the kids were having fun playing… (that’s why Willem Jan is missing on the picture 🙃)

We’re taking a moment now to enjoy the “quiet” and catch up on everything we’ve fallen behind on… starting September 14, we’ll be kicking off our AUTUMN season—will we see you then? 🍂 🍁

A little secret… 🤫

This afternoon, we secretly opened our bookings for SOMMER 2027 — which means your next holiday experience can now be booked!

Our life in the Mountains
WJ & Erik on tour…

After a coffee break Arthur von Schmid Haus Wj & Erik continued on to their destination for the day: the summit of Säuleck (3086m)…

How little you feel in the world of the mountains, with the Hoch Alm Spitze in the background…

After wanting to quit several times, they kept going… and ‘suddenly’ the goal was within reach…

Mountain peak happiness, Säuleck 3086m ✅

After the descent to Arthur von Schmid Haus , a delicious meal, it was time to go to bed…

A ‘private’ room for two. Although Erik had to leave the doors open at night (something with long legs)

And if you fall asleep while playing hide-and-seek, then it was a good day in the mountains…

T O D A Y… it was just the two of us (I mean, three 🐶)
Willem Jan is doing his own thing, and we enjoyed the rugged beauty of Heiligenblut, high up and cool in the mountains… 🏔️

This time in sneakers, because hiking kilometers with the puppy isn’t quite on the agenda just yet, haha.
So we took a few steps, had some strudel and coffee, and that’s all it needed. This world is so beautiful… 🌍

If it’s a little quieter over here on Instagram, it definitely doesn’t mean it’s quieter at Mallnbach…

Our days are filled with cozy Meet & Eat evenings, kids running around and making new friends, a full parking lot, and lots (and lots) of changing beds, doing laundry, and keeping everything sparkling clean.

In other words… high season is in full swing!
