We’re thrilled to have the fantastic Luke O’Shea back at Qirkz in the Hunter this Saturday night!

Luke O’Shea is a powerhouse of Australian music - a born entertainer with songs that hit straight to the heart. With 17 Golden Guitars, including Male Artist of the Year and two Independent Artist of the Year awards, Luke stands among the most celebrated and authentic voices in Australian country and roots music.

In 2025, he was honoured with the prestigious Galaxy of the Stars Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to Australian songwriting and performance. And it’s no surprise - Luke’s live shows are electric. Blending foot-stomping energy, heartfelt storytelling, and down-to-earth humour, he creates a connection that few artists can match.
From rousing anthems that celebrate the Aussie spirit to intimate ballads that stir the soul, Luke’s performances take audiences on an unforgettable ride. His charisma, passion, and musicianship light up every stage, from big outdoor events to intimate listening rooms.

“His beautiful voice, clear and not overdone, captured both my attention and my spirit” (Australian Festival Guide).

"No matter how many times I see Luke O'Shea play live - his ability to completely captivate an audience never loses its power” (Sunburnt Country Music).

Dinner-and-show or show-only tix still available!

After John Parker’s fantastic SOLD OUT show here at Qirkz in the Hunter a few weeks ago, we’ve had people emailing us asking the inevitable question: when is John playing again?

Well, we’re very happy to say that the answer is…

THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23!

We’re delighted to be able to present John once again in the intimate setting of QIRKZ Cafe.

As we said before, this is a chance to discover one of the Hunter’s truly exceptional songwriters.
It doesn’t get much more real, or much more distinctly Australian, than John Parker.
And more than that, there’s a distinctly local voice in his songs, rooted in the Lower Hunter and the people and places of our own backyard. He is the ultimate storyteller through song, and one minute he’s moving people to tears, the next minute he’s cracking you up!!

So for everyone who missed out on tickets to last month’s show, here’s your second chance to experience the magic of John Parker in a room of just 25 people.

Bookings are open - and we strongly suggest grabbing your tix before this one sells out too!
Kitchen will be open too, with yummy burgers and other bar favourites!
