👠New Catherine Zeta-Jones thriller KILL JACKIE might be set across Europe, but South Australian screen practitioners helped bring it to life right here in Adelaide, supported by the SAFC! Executive Producer Peter Lawson of Adelaide Studios based Steel Springs Pictures says the SA PDV companies that worked on the series are second to none.

“Australia has some of the best post-production, visual effects, sound and music composers in the world. In Adelaide in particular, we’ve got places like Resin and KOJO, and Studio 508, which we used for sound. They were fantastic. The facilities and the people available here are top-notch," he said.

A new thriller starring Catherine Zeta-Jones may be set and filmed overseas, but South Australian talent played a key role in bringing the series to life through Adelaide’s post-production industry.

📣NEWS!📣 Production is now underway in Adelaide on new six-part ABC drama series RURAL CRIME UNIT, starring Rebecca Gibney, Morgana O’Reilly and Philip Lynch! The Northern Pictures production is the latest series to be supported through the ABC SAFC Content Pipeline Fund, anticipated to inject more than $7.3 million into the state’s economy and create more than 460 jobs for South Australians across creatives, crew and extras talent.

🌩️🌩️🌩️ It was filmed in the UK with heavyweight actors Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott, but did you know WWII drama PRESSURE is a showcase of South Australian screen talent? SA writer/director Anthony Maras brought the film home for post production, with the SAFC's SA PDV Rebate supporting work by local studios Rising Sun Pictures, Artisan Post Group and Studio 508.
