Jordan & Riley 🤍✨ A beautiful beginning for our newly renovated Homestead Lawns.

As one of the first couples to celebrate in the new space, Jordan & Riley’s wedding day was the perfect showcase of what makes this setting so special.

Their ceremony took place on the top lawn, with sweeping views across the Whitsunday Islands creating an unforgettable backdrop as they said “I do.” 🌴💍

Guests then moved down to the lower lawn for cocktail hour, where a pop-up bar, lawn games and the tropical surrounds set the scene for a relaxed yet beautifully considered celebration. 🍸✨

Congratulations, Jordan & Riley 🤍

No need to be bored or wonder how to pass the time while you’re relaxing at Freedom Shores!

Head into our lounge and have a go at our communal puzzle board. Add a few pieces, challenge your family or friends, or simply unwind one piece at a time. You never know… you might be the one to finish it! 😉

The best part? This beautiful puzzle features the iconic Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet. If you fall in love with it, you can even purchase your own from Cruise Whitsundays as a special keepsake of your Whitsundays holiday.

Who’s up for the challenge? 🏝️🧩

✨ Exciting New Upgrades for Freedom Shores Weddings ✨

We’re so excited to share some beautiful new updates here at Freedom Shores that will make our weddings even more unforgettable. 🌴💍

Over the past few months, we’ve completed a range of lawn and landscaping upgrades across both the Beach Shack and Homestead spaces, designed to enhance the natural beauty of the venue while giving couples even more flexibility when planning their special day.

🌿 **The Homestead**
The Homestead lawn has been transformed into two stunning levels, connected by a rock wall and staircase and surrounded by lush new gardens. We’ve also added a convenient new bathroom block with two toilets just behind the Homestead.

The upper lawn has been extended to maximise those breathtaking ocean views and now comfortably accommodates:
✨ Up to 150 guests cocktail/canapé style
✨ Up to 100 guests seated

The lower lawn also offers incredible ocean views and creates a beautiful alternative ceremony space, especially for couples hosting their reception on the upper lawn.

We’ve also installed three new block-out privacy blinds along the Homestead verandah (shown at the 4:45 mark in the video), allowing couples and bridal parties to make that magical aisle entrance completely unseen by guests until the big moment. 🤍

🌊 **The Beach Shack**
The Beach Shack lawn has been completely re-grassed to create a flatter, more versatile event space, while the sand area has been extended to create the perfect beachside bar setting.

The upgraded space can now accommodate:
✨ Up to 200 guests cocktail/canapé style
✨ Up to 150 guests seated

We also have more exciting additions underway:
• Additional lawn extending further into the foreshore area
• The relocation of our white “Bird’s Nest” lounge into a sheltered festoon-lit alcove — creating the perfect relaxed space for guests to unwind and enjoy the evening atmosphere ✨
