Cas and Ryan recently had the privilege of attending the Sony Foundation ‘You Can Stay’ fundraiser and it was a truly inspiring event.
A record breaking $1,027,000 was raised on the day!
Quest Breakfast Creek is incredibly proud to have provided 122 room nights over the past year, helping families who need to be close to their children while they receive treatment. Being able to offer a safe, comfortable place to stay during such a difficult time is something we’re honoured to be a part of.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing from Marcus from The Chemo Commute, who recently walked the 400km journey he once had to make for life-saving treatment, from Goondiwindi to Brisbane, nine years on from his own cancer diagnosis as part of The Chemo Commute. Marcus has raised an amazing $130,000 for the Sony Foundation Australia and its ‘You Can Stay’ program.
Hearing Marcus’s story was a powerful reminder of the difference we can make when we come together to support families when they need it most.
We’re incredibly proud to support such an important cause and look forward to continuing to help families through the ‘You Can Stay’ program.
