The Grampians Wine Festival is back and this year it’s going to be something extra special!

From 1st - 25th October 2026 the Grampians will be well and truly coming alive throughout this month-long celebration of our wonderful wine region.

Held across various locations in and around the Grampians (Gariwerd) – historic cellar doors to vineyard lunches, expect live music, creative collaborations, vertical tastings, themed experiences and plenty of reasons to stay a while.

It was great to spend some time today connecting with other local business owners and taking part in a small business forum hosted by Greater Ararat Business Network with Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price - Senator for the Northern Territory, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Shadow Minister for Skills and Training as well as Dan Tehan MP - Federal Member for Wannon and Manager of Opposition Business in the House, Shadow Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction

It was a valuable opportunity to share experiences, discuss the challenges facing small businesses, and have our voices heard. There’s real value in coming together as a local business community and working towards positive change. 🤝🇦🇺

So much to see and do when you Visit Grampians 🍷
Having family visiting recently turned into a fantastic day out as we explored some of Ararat’s highlights together
We explored the historic underground cellars at Seppelt Great Western with our great guide Tyler who suggested we enjoy some wine tasting 🍷🤷‍♀️ok sure…
We came for the history, stayed for the wine…and apparently someone thought a few bottles would make excellent souvenirs 🍷😉🍷

Apparently, we thought a wet 🌧️ and freezing 🥶 day was the perfect time to remove every single bed in the place! 😂
Our awesome team battled the cold, hauled out the old beds and bedding, and replaced everything with fresh new beds and beautifully clean bedding. 💪🛏️
It was a HUGE job, with plenty of lifting, shifting and wondering why beds are so ridiculously heavy! 😅
But we got it done — and now our guests can enjoy a fresh, clean and very comfy night’s sleep. 💤✨
Massive effort from everyone … and we’re pretty sure everyone earned a rest! 🛌 💤 👏

It just goes to show you never know where a day out might lead!

We took some visiting family to one of Visit Grampians well known wineries, expecting nothing more than a great day out. Instead, we had the opportunity to meet Bruce the CEO of Seppelt Great Western, enjoy a fantastic conversation, and before we knew it, our visit turned into a wonderful write-up in the local paper thanks to The Ararat Advocate

A memorable day with family, great people, and an unexpected story to tell. Sometimes the best moments are the ones you never plan! 🍷

Our gardens were starting to look a little wild and woolly…. we desperately needed a gardening legend, and I most definitely am not! 🌿😂
Thankfully, CJH Lawns & Gardens has been working hard making our gardens look neat and tidy, and preparing them for a well-earned winter rest. Come spring, we're hoping the gardens will be looking extra rosey 🌹 🌹 🌹 !
A huge thank you to Chris for getting our gardens under control and making us look far more green-thumbed than we really are! 🌸👏
